Now the SFA Premiership now completed, here are the awards:
Most Valuable Player (MVP): Glauber of LJFC finished the season with an average of 7.35. He beat fellow left winger, Fabio Coentrao of City Rangers, who averaged 7.34. Both played 37 games.
Least Valuable Player (LVP): Everton, striker for Mutt Ring Racers, had an abysmal 6.42 rating in 22 games. D'oh.
Man of the Golden Boot: Fabio Quagliarella of champions Bondstreet Rovers retained his award, with 30 goals in 38 appearances.
Playmaker: LJ FC's Glauber and City Rangers' Fabio Coentrao share this award with 38 apiece. Interestingly, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th placed players all played on the left wing.
Dribbler Award: Fabio Coentrao puts forward another reason as to why he should have been MVP, with an astonishing 8.78 dribbles a match, 1.3 more than his nearest rival, Feinduono, of Portland Rangers.
Scum Award: Zephaniah Ngodzo of Portland Rangers committed a whopping great 92 fouls throughout the season. He needs to go back to school.
Sympathy Award: FC Tensixty's Bojan got fouled 103 times, 8 times more than the next closest. Poor guy.
Most optimistic: Sylvan Ebanks-Blake of Blue's Brigade takes this season's honours, offside 80 times, and only playing 29 games. Matt, get working on your "off the ball" and "positioning" coaching skills.
Manager of the season: Mattias Olsson - who else?!
Cheers,
Luke, manager LJFC
